Timeless Engineering
for Classic Machines

Preserving the spirit and beauty of classic motorcycle design
through modern engineering and manufacturing.

Restoring ideals with technology

The concept of our product is simple; We want to reproduce the original exhaust system
of the 1976 XT500 (1N5/1E6) using modern materials and technology.

The early exhaust system is key to the identity of the XT500, and was created from a
draft image of the initial plans, followed by a full-size clay model prototype.
However, the quality of the steel used for the original was poor, with many users facing
issues by rust and corrosion over time. We build on the original concept to create a high
quality exhaust system that is lighter in weight, optimized geometry, and new metals.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

This product has been designed with a striking overall image without compromising on the design of the original.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

The internal shape of the exhaust system is a faithful reproduction of the original. Using modern design technology, we were able to improve the efficiency and reduce the noise of the system.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

The new exhaust system, reconstructed with stainless steel (SUS436L) is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, making it less prone to rust.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

Through optimization with modern technology, the exhaust system now possesses a more refined shape — one that would have been impossible to create with the production technology of the past.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

Unfortunately, the original exhaust system’s design was inefficient in terms of its cost, materials, and production-related limitations.

Unfortunately, the original exhaust system’s design was inefficient in terms of its cost, materials, and production-related limitations.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

We utilized high-precision 3D-CAD structural simulations to calculate the strengths and stresses for each part to eliminate all deficiencies in the strength and rigidity.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

The original exhaust system sacrificed a lightweight design to create a complex pipe layout, whose shape was finally achieved by integrating multiple auxiliary parts.

Exhaust system for YAMAHA XT500 (1E6)

Reconstructing the exhaust system with modern technology has allowed us to create a high-quality product that is both robust and lightweight while still achieving its complex pipe layout.

Features

01

Respect

Original Design Inspired by
the Original Development Philosophy

The early XT500 exhaust system is one of the defining elements of the motorcycle’s identity.
We faithfully reproduce its original form while respecting the engineering philosophy and aesthetics of the original design.

02

Premium Quality

High-Quality Construction with
Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel

The corrosion issues commonly associated with the original steel construction are addressed through the use of high-grade stainless steel.
Built for durability and long-term reliability.

03

Lightweight Construction

Significant Weight Reduction
Without Compromising Strength

Using 3D-CAD structural analysis, we optimized thickness and geometry while maintaining the required strength.
The result is a significantly lighter exhaust system compared to the original.

04

Bolt-On Installation

Direct Installation with
No Modification Required

Mounting points and bracket geometry are designed to match the original specifications.
No vehicle modifications are required.

05

Optimized Exhaust Flow

Enhanced Torque Characteristics
Through Flow Optimization

Internal structures have been redesigned to improve exhaust efficiency.
The result is a smooth and controllable power delivery that preserves the XT500’s original character.

06

Faithful Reproduction

Accurate Recreation Down
to the Internal Structure

Using 3D scanning and reverse engineering, we faithfully reproduce not only the exterior appearance but also the internal baffle structure.
Even the original sound character has been preserved.
